Dry Storage Options:

St. Francis Yacht Club: June 4th – 15th

All yachts competing in the 2009 Melges 24 National Championship may be moored free of charge at the StFYC guest docks one night prior to the beginning of racing and one night after racing concludes.
All trailers should be stored at the direction of the StFYC Dockmaster.
Trailers will not be permitted into the City parking lot prior to June 4th.

Storage prior to June 10th :

Please contact the San Francisco City’s Harbormaster’s Office (415.292.2013) if you plan to leave a trailer in the City parking lot prior to Wednesday June 10th for an overnight parking permit. The permit will cost $7.50 per night and all trailers without a city permit may be towed.

Treasure Island Sailing Center:
Centrally located on San Francisco Bay, TISC is a non-profit public sailing facility that annually teaches inner-city youth how to sail. This facility has two cranes capable of lifting a Melges 24. TISC has made special arrangements to accommodate Melges 24 teams who will be arriving to SF Bay early to take advantage of the many fleet events prior to the Silver Cup and the US National Championship.

Visiting teams are offered dry storage for $110 per month and/or $10 per day for shorter stays. A team staying for less than a month would pay $10 per day through eleven days, but no more than $110 for 30 days. This is a special offer for the 2009 US National Championship so tenants will be required to pay their full rent in advance from arrival day. Also, each visiting owner/skipper must sign the TISC Storage Rental Agreement.

The contact person at TISC is Lacey Todd, who is on-site during weekdays. She can be contacted at TISC at 415-421-2225 or via email at Lacey.Todd@tisailing.org.
